John Thomas, formerly executive vice president and chief strategy officer at Leidos, has joined SOS International’s board of advisers.
He most recently oversaw Leidos’ corporate strategy, communications, mergers and acquisitions and government and legislative affairs, SOS International said Monday.
Julian Setian, president and CEO of SOS International, said Thomas’ U.S. intelligence community background “will help us strategize and grow our intelligence solutions group.”
Thomas was president of SAIC’s national security sector and senior VP and general manager of the company’s intelligence systems group.
He also served as a career intelligence officer at the U.S. Army, where he commanded the Army Intelligence Center at Ft. Huachuca and the Intelligence and Security Command at Ft. Belvoir.
Thomas was also an associate deputy director of the National Security Agency and deputy chief of the Central Security Service.
